Freedom (defined)?

Nothing enslaves you more than the clock, calendar, and money?

Freedom... what exactly does it mean... Are You Free?

Most people arrogantly think they are free, when in reality, nothing could be farther from the factual truth? Freedom is a nice idea, cute as hell, but only an idea nevertheless. An idea invented by the ruling elite to easier control their subjects as ``there is no more compliant slave than a slave who think he/she is free`` and it`s a great tool to help the ruling elite (human farmers) control their populations (human cattle) because it prays on the arrogant DUMBASS ``I`m free damn it``.

”It is truth that liberates, not your effort to be free.” - Jiddu Krishnamurti

”It is truth that liberates, not your effort to be free.” - Jiddu Krishnamurti

And therefore, one must understand the 2 forms of Freedom 1) Physical and 2) Psychological.

1) The physical control of being enclosed within a certain area is known as imprisonment or bondage, and to escape from that, one can call freedom. 2) Psychologically, one has built a prison for oneself by one`s own desires such as fear, beliefs, anxieties, and so on, which makes one think if Freedom, total freedom, is even a posibility or if Freedom is just an idea and(or a prison in itself as total freedom requires one to be totally free from any influence from all authority and belief  systems including religion andeven sports teams? But nevertheless, since we live in a ¨pop culture¨ of slogans, Freedom is what most people want, yet don`t, IT DOES SELL T-SHIRTS THOUGH, but what exactly does Freedom mean?

But, government, although seeming to be the greatest apparent destroyer of freedom, is not the biggest threat to your freedom;

Here are 3 stronger (and closer) to control your everyday more than government ever could or will:

  1. Parents: Unless you don`t give a shit about what your parents impose upon you during your entire life, they will always rule, govern, and control you.
  2. Marriage: Unless you don`t give a shit about what your spouse imposes upon you during your entire married life, your spouse will always rule, govern, and control you
  3. Yourself: Unless you don`t give a shit about what you impose upon yourself during your entire life (conciousness or ethics, morals, and integrity), you will always rule, govern, and control yourself, this is also known as self government or, in international law, ``self determination``.

However, there are much worse vicious controllers than the 3 above. Although most people don`t think much about it and happily remain under their control, the most imediate and constant things that rule, govern, and control you are none of the above but the following 3:

  1. Calendar: Tells you what days to work, rest, and celebrate or mourn.
  2. Clock: Tells you when to eat (you eat when it`s time to eat and not when you are hungry), when to sleep (you sleep when it`s time to sleep and not when you are tired/sleepy), and when it is time to wake up (you wake up when it`s time to wake up and not when you are no longer tired/sleepy)
  3. Television: It tells you what to love, what to hate, and how to live your life most times in the most unatural way and designed to make it basically impossible for you not to violate what conciousness tells you to do (most people constantly live according to how the TV tells them to live)

The 7 Mental Traps that help you enslave yourself?

1. Assumptions
This is a supposition. You assume something is true based on what you think is true. Without proof. Assumptions can be about others and yourself. For instance; “He treats me this way because of xxxxxxx”, I assume that xxxxxxx because of xxxxxxx, “They think I’m like xxxxxxxxx”, “I always do xxxxxxx because of xxxxxxx”.
Why it ruins your life: You create a lot of unnecessary emotional and mental pain for yourself. Especially if you assume the worst. Assumptions lead you to making false judgement’s about others. This can harm and even destroy relationships with the people you care about.

2. Beliefs
Believing with conviction that something is true even if it may not be. Mental beliefs are very extremist in nature. The mental terminology is very strong, just as beliefs are. For instance; “I will never be able to speak normally“, “they always look at me weirdly”, I believe in xxxxxxx. Like all mental traps, beliefs are unconsciously held. They can be so deep rooted that they evade the conscious mind. e.g. “Other people are always out to get me”, “I’m really ugly”.

Why it ruins your life: Beliefs are very blinding by nature. If they’re false they can affect you profoundly, as they’re so deeply held. Beliefs have a nasty way of crippling you with fear if you have enough conviction. Your life, therefore, may be very limited and restricted resulting in a sad, embarrasing existence.

3. Comparisons
This can be between you and others, e.g. “he’s way smarter than me”. Comparisons can also be between ourselves and our ideals of what should be, e.g. “I should be size xxxxxxx just like xxxxxxx”. Dissatisfaction is what drives comparison. We want to be better, more perfect, ideal and excel others. Comparison also drives competition. We use other people and our ideals as a yardstick of success.

Why it ruins your life: Making comparisons breeds a lot of jealousy and envy. It also results in anger, pain and frustration. This puts a strain on relationships with others, and frequently destroys friendships.

4. Desires
To desire is to want something you don’t have. We do this because we’re discontent, feeling as though we’re lacking. We don’t have enough. We are not enough. e.g. “I want to be this way xxxx but I can’t”, “I want this quality in her, but I don’t have it”. Desires are closely linked to comparisons. We compare ourselves and the result is a desire for something bigger and better.

Why it ruins your life: The basic principle of Buddhist thought is that desire equals pain. Often, desire results in lust, and lust results in idolization and obsession. The result is often pain. Think about the crimes in the world – thefts, murders, rapes, adulteries. These all result from desire. When we desire what we can’t have, the result is pain.

5. Expectations
To expect is to have the preconceived idea that something should happen or will happen. Expectations are usually created by rigid minds with mental structures that when challenged, crumble, putting the mind in turmoil. e.g. You unconsciously think “he’ll treat me politely”. But this doesn’t happen. Instantly you are let down by your expectation. Expectations stem from misguided certainty, and these are symptoms of security seeking behavior. You can also create expectations for yourself, e.g. unconsciously you think “I will blush and start to stutter”, and immediately… you do!

Why it ruins your life: Expecting certain behaviors from other people usually results in disappointment, confusion, frustration and anger. This can cause strain on relationships. On the other hand, expecting things from yourself can create many issues. Your expectations become self-fulfilling prophecies. They manipulate the outcome of a situation by predetermining whether it will be good or bad. e.g. If you expect to be tired, 99.9% of the time you will be. This can have an immensely negative impact on your life when your mind is already biased against you, or something else.

6. Ideals
This is the perfect outcome, object, situation or person generated by the mind. For instance; “I must become like this xxxx”, “to be smart I must have the IQ of 165?. Ideals are a symptom of perfectionism. Furthermore, they are usually set up as unrealistic goals, which are almost always impossible to live up to.

Why it ruins your life: Because ideals are hard to achieve, mental and emotional frustration frequently occurs. Ideals cause you to live under immense pressure, creating a lot of anxiety. When disparity is seen between the ideal and reality, dissatisfaction and pain almost always result. The perfectionist-idealist is often a hard person to please, and an even harder person to live with. Ideals therefore negatively impact relationships.

7. Traditions
Traditions make you think, act, and talk based upon what is commonly believed is the right/correct way to think, act, and talk instead of what is actually right/correct .

Why it ruins your life: It makes you act as an unintelligent dumbass lacking free will.

Therefore, before blaming government of encroaching your freedom and fighting ``a 7,000 pound gorilla`` (government) with a ``limp stick``, you must (aside honestly feeling free) first set yourself free from the Calendar`s, Clock`s, and Television`s control over your every action and then, only then, when you have achieved that successfully (if you can pull it off like I did), you can go bitch about and fight the encroaching of your freedom by government (the 7,000 pound gorilla).

I wasn`t going to mention it because it is obvious but you may be one of those type of people that let themselves be controlled by paper and bad ideas and needs to hear this so here comes the next obvious thing that ``got you by the balls`` BIG TIME and that is MONEY, money, money, money... money forces some people to get up, to get down, and to do things unethichal and/or disgusting with the excuse ``I`m just doing my job``. Therefore, if you have a JOB (Just Over Broke) working for someone else (a boss) for a salary, then you know that a JOB is nothing but voluntary slavery and therefore destroys all freedom you may think you have.

.

The only historically documented Freedom that I have ever seen is the Freedom given by money, power, and self determination?

.

One can then simply, logically, and factually conclude that freedom, although a nice one, is nothing but an idea and the state of being free is established from within starting by dropping all influence from the calendar, clock, money, and TV as Freedom is not established by decree, law, or document (Are You Free?).

DON’T PANIC?
